GS Final Cruise

CALIFORNIA 2013

The Voyager took us on Grandma Suzy's final cruise.  Most of the family gathered in Redondo Beach to sprinkle GS at Sea.

Sharp Dressed

Now here is a well dressed fireman.  It's a shame that this uniform only comes out on special occasions.  In this instance, we were sending one of our own to the big house.  Captain Kenny Owens passed away suddenly at his home.  Incidentally, Kenny was my first Captain and I now hold his position.  The truck in the background is a 1955 Dodge Howe.  It was the first truck owned by our department.

Eleni and I went to Norfolk Botanical Gardens to play in the snow and to take some photos.  We were the only ones there!  When we got there, it was overcast and still snowing.  By the time we left, the skies were blue and the sun was out.  What an amazing photo day.
